The call of the mountains is ever-present and permeates life up here. The Kronplatz mountain, with its 2,275 meters high summit and its beloved bald head, is visible from every vantage point in the valley. It may not be the most beautiful mountain in the world, not even the highest and not even the most striking, but it is a sturdy specimen and an ideal skiing mountain with three sides to conquer. With the advent in Winter a wonderful season begins here in Bruneck as well as in the whole area nearby the Kronplatz.
